Dear team,

Today's workshop was meaningful due to your enthusiasm and participation. We understand the challenges within us to communicate in English.

Through the workshop it was an attempt to see the connection between content, learning outcomes and assessment and how we see our work. Once we understand this connection, we will be confident to facilitate teaching learning process in classroom and also to share about it with others. In coming workshops we will try to go deeper to understand it further.

  Mintho Sangma       Derek is one of the oldest, most significant, and  memorable villages among the Garo villages in  Goalpara (Assam). The population of the village is more than 2,500. The main sources of the village are cultivation, gardening and so on, and people mostly depend on natural resources. The river Jinjiram flows through the face of the village and people could depend on it for fishing. Numerous streams flow from the hills within and around the village and irrigate the cultivating fields. The village was very much greenish in summer because of the paddy cultivation.         প্ৰধান মন্ত্ৰী নৰেন্দ্ৰ মোদীৰ আহ্বানৰ প্ৰতি সঁহাৰি জনাই গোৱালপাৰা জিলাৰ বালাচাৰী-আমগুৰি গাঁওৰ ৰাইজে স্বচ্ছতাৰ ক্ষেত্রত প্ৰধান গুৰুত্ব দিছে। স্বচ্ছতাৰ ক্ষেত্রত প্ৰধান মন্ত্ৰীৰ সপোন বাস্তবায়িত কৰি দেশৰ ভিতৰতে শ্ৰেষ্ঠ স্বচ্ছ গাঁৱৰ   সন্মান কঢ়িয়াই আনিবলৈ গাঁওবাসীয়ে চেষ্টা চলাই আছে। অৱশ্যে জিলা প্ৰশাসনেও এই ক্ষেত্রত যথেষ্ট সহায় কৰি আছে। আলি-পদূলিত আৰি থোৱা আছে ডাষ্টবিন। গাঁওখনৰ পৰিষ্কাৰ- পৰিচ্ছন্নতা আৰু প্ৰাকৃতিক পৰিৱেশে সকলোকে মুগ্ধ কৰিছে। ১০৫ টা পৰিয়ালে বসবাস কৰা প্ৰতিটো ঘৰত আছে   চৰকাৰে প্ৰদান কৰা পকী শৌচালয়। গাঁওৰ মহিলা সকলে সপ্তাহৰ প্ৰতিটো দেওবাৰে চলাই চাফাই অভিযান। একেদৰে পুৰুষ সকলে ও মাহত দুবাৰকৈ চাফাই অভিযান   চলাই গাওঁখন পৰিষ্কাৰ- পৰিচ্ছন্ন কৰে। গাঁওখনৰ প্ৰৱেশ পথৰ দুয়ো কাষে শাৰী- শাৰীকৈ গছ ৰোপন কৰা হৈছে। প্লাষ্টিক মুক্ত কৰাৰ প্ৰয়াসেৰে গাঁওখনত আছে কঠোৰ নিয়ম। জুৱা , মদপান , লটাৰী আদি নিষিদ্ধ কৰি জৰিমনাৰ ব্যবস্থা কৰিছে গাঁওবাসীয়ে।                         ...
